Musical Theater
Sam grew up steeped in musical theater. Sam has recently appeared as Simon in Utopia Opera's production of Jesus Christ Superstar; in concert readings of Illusion at The Tank (Spark Theatre Festival), For the Record(s) at The Green Room 42 and Rock On! at The Producers Club; and in other developmental works through SandboxMusicals and Rogue Theatre Festival.

Ensemble
Sam continues to build upon extensive ensemble singing experience across western classical, sacred, modern, folk, barbershop, acapella, and more, at venues including Carnegie Hall, United Palace, Symphony Space, Opera America, and Palace Theater. Sam recently performed in MACC Ensemble's fall and winter productions, From Death to Eternal Light and A Monteverdi Christmas, respectively; as well as in their collaboration with Fort Greene Orchestra for Fauré's Requiem. This season, Sam looks forward to singing in MACC’s production of The Last Words, as well as in the North American premiere of Roger Wesby’s Misa mésotica. Sam also currently sings as a staff soprano with St. Boniface Parish.
